In van Riel Gallery, the Argentinean artist Sergio Avello, displays "PINTURA-PINTURA" an exhibition compound by multiple confluent fields that, gather, match and interact with each other, provoking fascinating moments or states of beauty. Simultaneous and uncountable, they offer themselves to be read and their influence expand elevating the quality of the environments.
We could distinguish the field of PAINT as an ancient form of human expression that begun around 30 thousand years ago; PAINT as layers of color over a flat surface; PAINT which real value is the artistic effect that it produces in us; PAINT as history of styles, tendencies, discoveries, avant-garde, evolutions, languages; PAINT as the possibility of perceiving art and aesthetics, colors and forms, materials and ideas, game and fun, traditions and breakthroughs, joy and satisfaction.
